WRES - Work Ready Employment Services

WRES is a Employment Scheme for those considered “Work ready”.

'Work ready' people are those who have been recently affected by job losses, are experienced in their field, eager to find new employment and therefore are deemed to be work ready, but they may require support to re-enter the labour market.

To avail of WRES, you must be referred by your Jobs and Benefits Office, and be in receipt of one of the following:

  • Universal Credit (all regimes)
  • New Style Jobseekers Allowance
  • Jobseekers Allowance
  • New Style Employment Support Allowance
  • Employment Support Allowance
  • Income Support
